Che-Chang Kuo, RAc
Dr. Che-Chang Kuo studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and received complete clinical training of TCM in Taiwan. In 1999, he received a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the School of Post-Baccalaureate Chinese Medicine of Taiwan’s China Medical College and became a licensed Doctor of Chinese Medicine. He had received thorough trainings in both Western and Chinese medicines in China Medical College Hospital, Department of Chinese Medicine form 1999 to 2003.
In his practice, Dr. Kuo makes use of insertion needles, direct and indirect moxabustion, auricular acupuncture, electroacupuncture, cupping, tuina, and Chinese herbs. He applies Traditional Chinese Medicine in – (1) pain control on lower back pain, muscle and joint pain, etc.; (2) immunomodulatory, such as allergic disease treatment and autoimmune disease; and (3) cancer adjuvant therapy; (4) autonomic nervous system disorders, such as sleep disorders and Palpitations; (5) reproductive system diseases including infertility.
Dr. Che-Chang Kuo currently works as Director of Department of Chinese Medicine in Taiwan’s ST. Joseph Hospital. He is also a member of Kaohsiung Chinese Medical Doctors’ Association (http://www.khcma.com.tw) and the Nation Union of Chinese Medicine Doctors’ Association R.O.C (http://www.twtm.tw).
